Our Inspiration

Everybody cannot reach the Institute, Let the Institute reach everyone, said Swami Rama. Thus was born the Rural Development Institute to serve the rural areas which would bring out models for development as a whole. He personally laid the foundations of integrated approach towards development with focus on personal development of individuals and communities at large. Through your thoughts, speech and action add to the beauty and bliss of the universe. That is ‘worship’. Worship nature and her children and nature will adore you, said Swami Rama. .

Our Work

RDI has worked as a technical training and the state resource center for health and adolescent in the state. Over the years RDI has conducted various training and capacity building workshops for ASHA workers, NGO personnel CMOs, Medical Officers, ANMs etc to meet the health and youth concerns.
