GURU PURNIMA

The day of Guru Purnima, a great day of delight celebrated with reverence to the noble heritage of spiritual knowledge, is a day that makes the aspirant aware that the light of knowledge is ever-flowing and over-flowing internally and externally both. It again reminds the aspirant not to be caught by the snare of the charms and temptations of the world but to discharge one’s duties selflessly, lovingly, and skillfully. It’s a great day for spiritual seekers and is rejoiced traditionally by all spiritual aspirants all over the world. That which dispels the darkness of ignorance is called guru, and that which is a bright being is called deva. The bright being that terminates knowledge and love with mind, action, and speech with spontaneity is a light divine, and this day we all celebrate in honor of our spiritual teacher with great joy. May the Lord of heavens bless us on this day so that we remain aware of our spiritual goal till the last breath of our life.

Shanti, Shanti, Shanti
