Hospital Update

  • Eye camp held at NIVH, Dehradun held on 14th January 2009 and will again be held on 21st January, 2009.

  • Orbis Camp (Eye) held on 13th  January, 2009 at RRMPS, Bijnore.
  • Gynecology & Pediatrics Camp held at ITC, Haridwar on 10th January, 2009.
  • A Super Specialty Health Camp held at Govt. Hospital, Haridwar on 9th January, 2009 and 30th Janaury, 2009 in Devband.
  • Smile Train programme will be held on 18th January, 2009 at Bijnore.
  • Cornea Transplant for 2 patients was successfully performed by ophthalmology department with the help of eye bank
  • A group of 22 B.Sc  Nursing students from University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh, USA visited the HIHT University and participated in the 'Science of Joyful Living' Seminar from 7th January to 13th January, 2009.
  • Eye camps conducted on 12th, 13th, 19th, 23rd, 27th and 30th of January, 2009 in Pauri Garhwal and Jaihrikhal areas.
  • Blood donation camps organized at at SIRSA (Haryana) from 22nd Janauary till 24th January, 2009.
  • Blood donation camp will be held on 26th January, 2009 at IIT, Roorkee.
  • Health Camp organized for the children in the slum areas on 31st January, 2009 in Dehradun.

RDI Update

  • A.P. Livelihood-Training on organic farming a total 6 batchs in Thatyud and Dhanolti were completed. Transplantation of Pyrethram at field'

  • CVU Activities-Theatre workshops held from 5th to 9th January, 2009.
  • Workshops held on various student related topics under the Spanish Scholarship programme. 44 students participated'
  • Education-Workshop held on 10th January, 2009 by the Caring Hand Project on get-together and educational growth'
  • Family Planning-House listing Survey completed on 10th January, 2009
  • State Training Resource Centre-Three days Peer Education Training for outreach planning organized 6th to 8th January, 2009
  • Village Resource Centre-Tele-Dermatology Session (Lakahamandal) conducted with Dr. Arika Bansal.
